I received my Ph.D. in August 2017 from Syracuse University where I studied DIY culture and zines in the 21st century. I am originally from Buffalo, New York, and although I lived in Nevada for a few years, I have spent most of my life in an area most people call “Upstate.” I am an avid fan of Buffalo sports teams and when I’m not on campus I’m usually parenting my three wild kids, buying records, seeing live music in Philadelphia, or cooking, reading, and watching films/tv. Since I still consider myself new to South Jersey and Philly, I hope I can count on you to orient me to Rowan and teach me more about the things you love about this place.
